Shannon Coman
Shannon is a mother, wife, and business owner who first tried yoga about 12 years ago, while pregnant with her daughter. She fell in love with yoga immediately and somehow knew she had found her path. The path is sometimes winding and Shannon’s practice has changed and evolved a lot over the years. She has practiced or at least tried lots of different types of yoga classes, attended countless workshops, festivals, and retreats, and has had the privilege of helping to plan and execute the I AM Yoga Festival in Tulsa for the past 8 years. In 2019, Shannon decided to attend a 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training certification now being offered by I AM Yoga. Shannon’s motto: “I have to have a plan… but I do understand plans are always subject to change.” In addition to yoga, she loves cooking, entertaining, holistic living, interior design, reading books (actual books, not screens), the Lake, hanging out with family and friends, traveling, being a wife and mom, my crazy dog, and good wine.
